Green Valley Sidewalk Sculptures - 2025

These are a series of monuments made of poured concrete, placed next to five bus stops along the walkway. Each one is 6 feet wide by 4 feet tall. The images celebrate local agriculture, wildlife and culture, and incorporate hand-painted tiles by the young art students at Amesti Elementary. The process involved building wooden forms for the concrete, working with rebar, and overseeing concrete pouring, all new to me!
